Richard Badcock (Senior)

Richard (Dick) Badcock (Snr) passed away Sunday 16^th May 2010 aged 84 years.

Richard (pictured with his son Phil) was a Founder Member and Life Member of the Elizabeth Rugby Club and a member of the South Australian Rugby Hall of Fame. He played 353 games and was a referee, junior coach and administrator for many years. Three of Richard’s sons, Richard, Dennis and Phil all played rugby for Elizabeth as did two of his grandchildren Josh and Ash. In 2009 one of Dick’s dreams was realised when his Great Grandson Blake played a game for the Elizabeth juniors and became the 4^th generation of the family to play for Elizabeth.

Dick was a great supporter and a great bloke and will be missed by all his friends at the Elizabeth Rugby Club. Our thoughts are with his family.
